The carburetor setting is fundmental to obtain the
maximum performance. In our software we've developed in
the years complex calculations to give at technicians
and tuners an instrument that allows to optimize with
the maximum precision the setting in each operation ad
weather conditions. Transfer this level of calculations
on simple apps isn't possible, anyway for diaphragm
carburetors we've wanted to recreate our algorithms also
on an application accessible on-line to allow at our
customers to join the advantages of a professional
software, with a greater ease of use on track. |

How does it work? |
| The use
of the application is very simple. First
of all must be entered the information
of the parameters most influencing the
behavior of the carburetor. |
|

The displacement and efficiency of the
engine significantly influence the behavior of
the carburetor, for this reason it is possible
to provide this information in the application.
As far as efficiency is concerned, the
applications are initially calibrated on the
most usual values for kart engines that use the
specific carburetor, however it is possible to
modify them to refine the results to the
characteristics of each engine. In addition to
this, it is possible to enter the operating
range of the engine on the track in the
application, in this way the calibration will be
optimized where it is really important for the
engine and therefore for the performance. |

The percentage of oil in the mixture
significantly influences not only the combustion
and lubrication of the engine, but also the
quantity of fuel that enters with the same flow
rate, and the viscosity of the mixture that
passes through the passages of the carburetor.
The application therefore also takes this
parameter into account in order to calculate
always the setting that allows to have the
optimal air-fuel ratio. |

The stiffness of the spring present in the
diaphragm mechanism above all influences the
transient behavior of the carburetor, however
the calibration can also be influenced by the
use of different springs. For this reason, the
application also takes into account the spring
used, through the opening pressure values, and
the diameter of the needle valve seat. |

be entered the weather conditions and
the setting that you initially have in
the carburetor or that you want to test. |
